The inspiration for this website has been the readers of my News of the World Fastlane column. Now I want you to tell me what this site’s next section should be. Would you prefer pages where you can read about the problems people are having with their cars; somewhere where you can air your views too. Or would you like an archive of the short road tests and news that feature on the home page. Or what about a page devoted to products? Car cleaning kit, nifty gadgets etc... Simply email yoursay@jamesfoxall.co.uk and put EITHER ‘Problems’ OR ‘Road tests’ OR 'Products' in the subject line. If you want to contact me for any other reason, email to contact@jamesfoxall.co.uk.
And finally, a bit about me… When I tell people that I’m a car journalist, many think I’ve got the dream job. Let’s get one thing straight. The novelty wears a bit thin when you’re hanging around a murky test track in the middle of winter and it’s freezing cold and you know it’s so dark the pictures will look like they’ve been taken in a bin liner. That aside, it is a dream job. I get to drive a huge number of new cars – very often before anyone else outside the car companies. And then I have to write what I think about them. As well as being motoring editor for the News of the World, I also write for Auto Express, evo, the Daily Telegraph and anyone else who’ll pay me. During my career I’ve also worked as an 'expert' (ahem) on ITV1’s Car Hunt, been a consultant to Police, Camera, Action! and written for the Sunday Times, Daily Express, Daily Star, London Evening Standard, Autosport and many car manufacturers’ customer magazines. |
